fire looked like early this morning in baltimore. five people killed including four children. and children. baltimore city fire officials say it happened after 2:00 this morning. they got to go home and it was fully engulfed. one person tried to jump from the second-floor and there were taken to the hospital for treatment as well as a firefighter was inside fighting the blaze and fell through the second story into the basement of the moment. investigators are trying to figure out what exactly sparked this fire that killed five people early this morning. all of this is still under investigation. we are hoping to get new images and video as well as more reformation. as soon as we get that, we will share it with you. back to you. >> thank you. also, now that it is a must win games for the washington nationals, the cardinals back to the team into a corner after shutting about yesterday. >> it was not pretty.

approaching the ramp 2 rockville pike. representative restrfrom an earlier crash where a vehicle went into a pole. minor delays. in virginia, there is a work zone through the ballston region. southbound glebe road just before 66, the left lane is closed through rush hour this morning as well as this afternoon. back to you. >> thank you. 5:32. >> we want to check in with jummy olabanji for the latest in baltimore. >> good morning. fire investigators are still on the scene of the fatal house fire in baltimore. we can pull up a picture or to show you what it looked like at the height of the fire. you can see the large flames and smoke billowing into the air at his home in the 5600 block of denwood avenue in baltimore city. we have just received video of

investigators on the scene. the fire broke out just after 2:00 this morning. firefighters getting to the scene seeing all the flames and smoke. they saw one person jumping from the second story of the home. there were taken to the hospital as well as a firefighter taken to hospital who was injured. five people have been killed. once investigators were able to knock the fire down, they went into the home and made the discovery. four children and one adult killed. investigators still working to figure out what exactly killed those victims as well as what caused the fire. we are waiting to get that information from baltimore city officials and we hope to bring it to you later in the newscast. back to you. >> thank you. 5:33. the pressure is on the nationals now to deliver this afternoon against the st. louis cardinals. >> facing elimination after the cardinals shut them out on wednesday to take a two to one

motorcycle and opened fire on the car that the u.s. embassy employee was in as he was getting out to go into the embassy. they have not identified the victim, but they believe he is of yemeni dissent. we are waiting for confirmation. we have been told the attacker did flee the scene after the shooting. back to you. >> thank you. police intensifying their search for a man who has attacked and groped numerous women in springfield. they released a composite sketch of the suspect. in just the last month, six women have reported being fondled while walking along dark roads. latest happened along cumberland drive in springfield. in each case, the suspect's description was similar. a tense night for rescue workers in florida as they were able to free a person trapped in the rubble of a parking garage collapsed. >> two other people were killed in the collapse on the campus of miami dade college. tahman bradley has the latest.

nationwide foreclosure filings fell in september to the lowest level in five years. foreclosure filings in d.c. were 19% lower last month than a year ago. as far as trading, we will get a higher open for stocks, making up ground from yesterday. upscale hilton hotels are going down market. the chain is pitching three new more affordable restaurant concepts including pastries pizza, beer. and an urban kitchen. and a grill where tipping is not expected. and wendy's is getting a makeover, changing its logo to look like this. a new, more relaxing dining experience featuring cushioned chairs, whole wheat buns, and flatbreads are among the changes
